By entering the “Bardot Hot Summer Brights Competition” (“Competition”) organised by Bardot Clothing Pty Ltd ABN 61 074 147 434 of 63 Victoria Crescent ABBOTSFORD (the “Promoter”), you as entrant (“Entrant”) will accept and are bound by the following terms conditions.
Entry to the Bardot Hot Summer Brights Competition is via the Bardot Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/Bardotfashion thus entry is only available to registered facebook members.
Entrants will be required to provide their details, including but not limited to their own name, address, postcode, birth date and telephone number and 1 photo as required below. Incomplete, misdirected or illegible entries will be ineligible.
The Entrant must submit 1 photo of the Entrant wearing at least one item from the “Bardot Hot Summer Brights” range advertised by Bardot online store at www.bardot.com.au
Upon submission of the Entrant’s entry the photo submitted will automatically be posted by Bardot onto the Entrant’s facebook wall. An Entrant may choose to delete this photo on their wall by clicking on “remove post”. On the last screen, the Entrant may choose to share their outfit with their facebook friends. A message will be sent to the Entrant’s inbox that will advertise the competition and display the photo submitted by the Entrant.
Employees of Bardot their immediate families and their associated agencies and companies associated with the promotion are ineligible. People who have won a competition with Bardot within the last 12 months are also ineligible.
Entrants must not edit their submitted photo entries in anyway. Any clothing, footwear and accessories used in the photos should be reasonably generic and not resemble a particular brand’s style.
All entries remain the property of the Promoter and may be entered into a database for future marketing or promotional activities. By entering the Competition Entrants, in the event that you are a Winner, consent to the publishing of your name and suburb of residence on the website Bardot.com.au and on Bardot Facebook page. The Promoter will not use the Entrants’ personal information for any other purpose without their consent unless required or authorised to do so by law. Entrants must notify the Promoter in writing if they would like to amend their personal information or if they have any queries as to how their personal information will be used.
The competition commences on 1 September 2011 at 09.00am EST and concludes on 28 September 2011 at 09.00am EST.
The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes cannot be transferred. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash. The winners will be chosen on 29 September 2011 at 9.00am (EST) at Bardot Head Office, 63 Victoria Crescent ABBOTSFORD, VICTORIA in its absolute discretion. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries. Bardot reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
No responsibility will be accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database, and NOT at the time of transmission by the Entrant.
The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of the prize.
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the Promoter determines, in its absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual or Entrant who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
The winners will be notified by email and phone on the address and numbers provided by the Entrant.
Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing. All prize values are in Australian dollars and include GST.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
All winning entries will be entered into a database and the Promoter may use the Entrants' names, addresses and telephone numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid. The Entrant may advise the Promoter that the Entrant does not wish to be contacted in this regard.
Prizes and values are as follows: 3 x $500 Bardot vouchers. Total value of prize pool is AUD$1500.00 as at 09 August 2011.
The winner releases the Promoter and other organisers, their related bodies corporate, affiliates, officers, agents and employees, from all liabilities, loss and damage of any kind arising at any time out of or in connection with the acceptance of, and participation in, the prize. Without limiting the foregoing, the released parties not be liable for any injury, sickness or death, property loss or damage or other direct or indirect loss or damage of any kind, howsoever sustained or incurred, in connection with or arising out any other aspect of the prize.
In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the Prize.
